Returning Royalty
As part of our
50th Homecoming celebration, the BGHS Student Council attempted
to invite back all the past Homecoming kings and queens from the past
fifty years. Unfortunately
not all could be contacted. Two
were deceased, and several others did not have current addresses
available. However, nearly
half of the royalty accepted the invitation and returned for the Garrigan/MMC
game on September 19, 2008. Many
also wrote words of inspiration for the current Golden Bears, which were
used as part of our morning prayer during Homecoming week.
We thank all the returning past royalty who helped to make our
fiftieth anniversary special.
