If you are interested in detasseling with the Bishop Garrigan crew, sign up in the office.  Starting wage this year will be $8.50; second year will be $9.50 and three or more years of experience will be $10.50 per hour.  Bonus incentives will be received at the end of the season.  If you want additional information please call Gaylene McGuire at 295-2051.

 

Attention cheerleaders:  the car wash is changed to 12-4 on Saturday.  Everyone should be there.

 

Mr. Wieland is desperate need of help today for his middle school relays.  If any teacher or student can help please see Mr. Patterson.

 

Countryside Community Playhouse will be having auditions for their summer show "Night of January 16th" on May 20th, 21st and 22nd.  Auditions will be held at Algona Public Library meeting room D drop in at any time between 7-9 PM if you are interested in trying out for a part or are interested in helping with or working the show. Fareway employees will have their picture taken on Monday, May 5th during homeroom.  Please report to Miss McCall's room.

Boys track will have handoff practice Sunday at 6:00 P.M at Algona High.  This practice will be for everyone running in Monday’s NCC meet.  Any questions see coach Wadle.

 

Teresa will be here Wednesday to register students in our college classes for next fall during activity period.

 

During activity period the classes will meet to elect class presidents for next school year.  Freshmen will go to the library, sophomores to the bandroom and juniors to the cafeteria.  Take pencils or a pen.

Congratulations to boys and girls golfers yesterday:  Both teams took first place at CYO.  In the boys meet, Colby Krieps was meet medalist, Bryan Berte was runner-up, and Andrew Schiltz had the 4th lowest score.  Congratulations to all the participants.
