Danz Squad

Congratulations to the danz team for placing 1st in Class 3 Hip Hop, Class 3 Pom, Judges Choice Award, and Outstanding academic achievement!!!!!

Congratulations to the danz  members who competed at State dance solos in Pella this past weekend.  There were 76 contestants in Class 1.  Rachel Molsberry won State Champion 1st place and Rebecca Molsberry earned 6th place, and Aimee Dahlhauser earned 10th place!!

The Dance squad recently returned form NDA summer camp with over 200 participants from 13 high schools and two states. 

The dancers received the Spirit Stick every night and also the NDA Spirit trophy, awarded by the attending  teams, receiving votes form 12 of the 13 teams. They also received the Super Showmanship Award, the silver in the Team Dance Circle of Winners, superior trophy for their Home Routine and the NDA National Championship bid, an award to the team exemplifying the best overall skill dance technique.

The All-American nominees were Kristin Berte, Aimee Dahlhauser, Kayla Schiltz, Hannah Bode, Rebecca  and Rachel Molsberry.

Barb Stence and Colleen Conway-Schiltz are in charge of the Danz Squad this school year.
