1. What
is a dedicated server?
A dedicated server is a leased system that is located at Unlimited
Web's data center and is exclusively used
by you. This system includes a web-server,
software, and Internet connection. It is well
suited for high traffic websites, highly sensitive
client data, or for secure e-commerce. You
may administer a dedicated server remotely.
2. How
does a dedicated server benefit me?
The advantages of a dedicated server include performance, security,
and increased control. You can host as many
sites as the web-server can handle because
you do not have to share a server. You can
install third party background software that
is restricted on shared servers as well as
gain root access.
3. Can
I customize my dedicated server?
Yes, we will be happy to custom build a server to your requirements.
4. What
happens in the event of a hardware failure?
All hardware and components are protected under our service
agreement. We will replace any hardware component
failure.
5. What
happens if I go over my bandwidth limit?
You choose a bandwidth plan customized for your current business
needs, when you lease a dedicated server.
If your traffic increases and you exceed your
monthly limit for bandwidth, we will charge
you based on the currently published rates.
6. What
if I need additional IP addresses?
Unlimited
Web can provide you with as many IP address
as you need, for a small fee. Please email
support@unlimitedweb.net
to request additional IP addresses.
7. What
types of service structures currently exist
for dedicated servers?
The
Unlimited Web Network monitors your server
24 x 7 to make sure it is up and running.
We will contact you by e-mail (if an off site
e-mail address was given) and begin attempts
to bring the server back up immediately.
