- Live auction begins Saturday night at 7:30pm and continue without interruption until all items have been auctioned. In order to enter a bid, you must hold your bid number high to attract the attention of the auctioneer and the spotters. Use only the bid Number that was assigned to you. The bid number is your identification. Group bids are allowed, but please designate a bidder and use his/her number only. Once you have purchased a group item, a runner will come to the designated bidder’s table to record the names and bid numbers of all the people involved in the purchase. Separate contracts can be filled out for each purchaser. Our clerks, runners, spotters and auctioneer have been instructed not to authorizer or allow any increases in the number of guests listed for the dinner party. Increasing or adding to the number of people invited to a dinner in an imposition on the donors as well as the clerks, cashiers, runners, spotters, and auctioneer. When an item is not displayed, the purchaser will receive a gift certificate for the promised item. Live auction items may be removes only by presenting a paid receipt to a GALA official at the time of departure. All auction items must be removed from the BGHS gymnasium either immediately following GALA or between 10:00AM & 12:00pm Sunday, the next day. All sales are final! No exchanges or refunds on items, except where specified; Absolutely NO exchanges for cash!! Decisions of the auctioneer are final. The BGS GALA committee and Friends of Garrigan make no express or implied warranties on auction items other than those from the manufacturer, which may be included with your purchase. Values set forth on items being auctioned are the donor’s estimate and are not warranted by GALA for tax purposes or for general value. Unless otherwise specified, all auction items and services must be used within one year after the GALA date. Payment by the successful bidder may be made beginning thirty minutes after the close of the last Silent Auction table. Payment may be made with cash, check, VISA or MasterCard. VISA and Master card will be the only credit cards accepted. Bidders not making arrangements for payment in full in the GALA check out area by midnight on GALA, will forfeit their right to purchase the item. |

Silent & Super Silent Auction |

- The Super Silent & Silent Auction Tables will open for bidding by your bid Number on the contracts the night of the Preview Party. On GALA night bidding opens up at 5:30pm each item in Super Silent & Silent has a bid sheet attached to a table in front of it. Persons desiring to bid may do so by writing in their name, bidding number and bid on the bid sheet Use only the bid number assigned to you. Each new bid must be written on the bid sheet in the next available blank space. Each increase in bid must equal or exceed the minimum raise stated on the sheet in order constitute a valid bid. Bids will be disqualified if a minimum raise is not sufficient. Scratching of bids is not allowed. Once a bid has been entered properly it is a valid and bidding bid. GALA official will disqualify the bid of any person who attempts to block the way for other to bid. If a persons bid is disqualified for any reason the bid of the person preceding it will be honored. In the event of a conflict, a GALA official shall act as the final authority and shall determine the winning bid. This decision is final. When an item is not displayed, the purchaser will receive a gift certificate for the promised item. Tables will close in ten minute intervals toward the end of the live auction. The closing bid will be circled by a GALA official. This constitutes the winning bid. Items may be removed only by presenting a paid receipt {Contract} to a GALA official at auction tables. All sales are final no exchanges or refunds. Absolutely NO exchange for cash. All items must be removed from BGHS gymnasium either immediately following GALA or the next day between 10:00am and 12:30pm.
