SUPPLIES NEEDED FOR THE 2007-2008 SCHOOL YEAR

The following are supplies needed for each grade/level.  Please note details, such as number of notebooks, wide-line paper, number of folders, kind of ruler, etc.  PLEASE DO NOT purchase 3-ring binders, hard pencil cases, or trapper keepers for any grade--there is not room in the lockers or desks for these items.  No white-out is needed at school.

It is a good idea to purchase a book bag for carrying items home.  Recently these have grown in size until they no longer fit in the lockers (which students must share) and they fill the aisles and classrooms.  No wheels, please.

* ALL GRADES - There is no room for book bags any larger than a small back pack.  These can be a health issue.  LARGE ONES WILL BE SENT HOME.  Please buy accordingly.

No hard pencil cases, as there is not enough room for them in the desks.

KINDERGARTEN

  • 1 box of 24 crayons
  • a SOFT zipper pencil case
  • 2 pencils

  • 3 large glue sticks (purple in color that dries fast)
  • 2 large boxes Kleenex
  • 1 vinyl kindergarten rest mat

GRADE 4

  • 1 box of 16 crayons
  • a SOFT zipper pencil bag

  • washable markers (optional)

  • 12-inch ruler (combination standard/metric)

  • erasable ball point pen (blue or black ink)
  • a red ballpoint pen

  • 1 container Lysol or Clorox disinfectant wipes

  • 7th and 8th grade students will also need a $3.00 fee for an assignment book and a $5.00 computer fee.

GRADE 3

BAND STUDENTS - GRADE 6 - $10.00 BAND FEE

BAND STUDENTS - GRADES 7 & 8 - $10.00 BAND FEE:

  • black pants (uniform pants are acceptable)
  • black turtle neck shirt (loose fit)
  • black shoes and black socks

VOCAL MUSIC - GRADES 4 - 8:

  • 1 pencil to keep in music room
  • 1 folder to bring to music class
  • 1 box Kleenex

ATHLETICS - GRADES 7 & 8:

  • T-shirt
  • white sports socks
  • water bottle
  • athletic supporter
  • For Football:  mouthpiece, a jersey large enough to fit over shoulder pads (one can be purchased at school), rubber-cleated shoes
  • For Volleyball, basketball, and track:  black shorts

PLEASE NOTE:  ALL FEES SHOULD BE PAID TO CAROL IN THE SETON OFFICE.

Fees for band, computer, assignment books, and athletics can be written on ONE CHECK made payable to Seton Grade School.  Please make a notation on the check for the fees included on the check.

PLEASE WRITE TUITION CHECKS, HOT LUNCH CHECKS, AND "FEES" CHECKS SEPARATELY.  THESE ARE ALL IN DIFFERENT ACCOUNTS.
