The Bishop Garrigan
Booster club, which has recently been re-organized, is sponsoring a new NFL raffle. The proceeds from this raffle will be used
for major athletic improvements such as football bleachers, gym floor, and
other items not covered under the athletic budget. Here is how the raffle works:
The cost of the
ticket is $20, which allows the participant to be involved with the NFL
football season for all 17 weeks. The
ticket already has printed on it 3 random teams for each of the 17 weeks. The total points scored by each of your 3
teams are your score for the week. For
example, if your ticket for week #1 had team numbers 6, 12 and 17, you have #6
– Chicago Bears, #12 – Green Bay, #17 – Miami.
IF the Bears score 45, the Packers score 21 and the Dolphins score 28,
your total score for the week would be 45+21+28 = 94. Each week your set of 3 teams changes and if any team does not
play in a certain week, that team will be assigned the previous week’s score.
If your score is
very high or very low, you might be eligible for a prize. The weekly prizes are:
